Overview

Manifold is an open-source publishing platform built by scholars and publishers. It's responsive, accessible, intuitive, customizable, and opinionated. With Manifold, you can publish materials you already produce or use it to build something new together with your colleagues and students. Manifold is used widely by university presses to publish digital monographs and collected editions, by faculty to publish work-in-progress and open course materials, by students to publish course-related writing and creative projects, and by scholarly collectives to publish journals and archival materials.

Getting Support#

There are a couple different ways to get help with Manifold.

  1. Manifold Publishers who host with Manifold Digital Services have access to direct support from the Manifold team. To learn more about Manifold Digital Services and managed Manifold hosting, please visit the services page on our site.

  2. For community support, please join our Slack channel. Use this link to secure an invite to our Slack channels. Questions are welcome in the #newbies, #general, and #installation channels.

  3. For technical questions, we encourage you to use Github Discussions on our repository. Questions answered in Slack tend to get lost, and if you ask your question on Github, the answer will be available to other users in the future.

Report an Issue or Request a Feature#
